I would like DNA testing on mummies , but at the same time not. Because if I died and mummified my body, I would not want people later to mess with me. But , I would want if I was murdered , for them to know by who and all. I would also want them to know who my parents were. So it is kind of an either way thing. I think it is great what they did to Tutankhamuns mummy. Letting it stay at his tomb.

Si-Amon's correct, though. I really wasn't very impressed with Tutankhamen's tomb--there is nothing much to see, except for the annex, which has the only wall paintings in the tomb, and even those are very unpersonable. Tutankhamen's body is not visible at all. It's easy to imagine that it was not a royal tomb--one that was pressed into service because Tut had died so unexpectedly. I've heard it said that they think it was originally meant for Aye, when he was vizier. Whomever it was originally for, an incredible amount of items were crammed into a small space. It boggles the mind to see all of Tut's things in the museum at Cairo, and to realize they were all in such cramped quarters. Carter used one of the close tombs in the valley as a preservation-area, before the things were sent on to Cairo. It was years of pains-taking work for him to empty the tomb.
