One of the theories that I read about is that Smenkhkare could have been the much older brother of tut following that tut was the son of Kiya and Akhenaten. But it seems like Akhenaten could not have been so old when he had him and why would Kiya not be the Great Royal wife over Nefertiti.I do not know what theory I believe about Smenkhkares parentage.

Really though, if Tut were Akhenaten's son, and Smenkhkare were his brother then why would Smenkhkare be made co-regent and not Tut? Now that I think about it, the two probably have to be brothers...

I'm just wondering though, does anyone have any idea how old Smenkhkare was or when he was born or anything? I personally have no clue, but everyone seems convinced that he was in his twenties or whatever.

Cause Smenkhkare was the older brother and in the book I am reading it says that Smenkhkare Died during his Co-regent but that is not what the Nefertiti show said. Which makes sense to me cause that would mean Tut was who was thinking he would become pharoah after his older brother which should havebeen pretty far away then he died tut was the next pharoah and he was not totally prepared. But on the Nefertiti show thay did not even mention that Smenkhkare could have been the older brother of Tut? I am not sure about the age thing either but I now they thought he could have been the much older brother but how much that means I am not sure.

If the mummy in tomb kv55 is Smenkhkare then that would make Tut about 10 years younger then him. But the thing we need to know is if the mummy is Smenkhkare. Who ever the mummy is in kv55 they were about 19 or 20 when they died they think this cause they examined the rib bones of the mummy and the forth and fifth rib bone had recently joined meaning the mummy could not be over 24 or so. So if this mummy is Smenkhkare and he died at the age of 20 or so and at that time tut was 10. I wonder if their is any way to prove the mummy found in kv55 is os not Smenkhkare cause we do not know who his parents are or anthing.
