ok... enough suspense... forgive the dis-organized format of this post.
Achilies is not an Achean. Achilies is a Myrmidon... translated as "Ant-people" and a kind-of-Achean. There are no "Ant-people". He is really a "Marmaridai", from Cyrene, which is "under" or "south" of Crete.
Okeanos is not the god of the Ocean. I think Pausanias calls him "God of the Grove".
Okeanos fills all the rivers from above. He lives in the Underworld. Homer says the gods visit him in "Ethiopia". He is a "Libyan Rain God". Newton says this Ethiopia is described by Arius Montanus and Samuel Bochart as being West of Egypt. Newton says the Ethiopia derives it's name from "Land of Thebes".
As for the Grove... this is the Grove of Persephone... The Grove of Poseidon... The Apples of the Hesperides. Note: The city of the Hesperides has been excavated in Cyrene.
Atlantis is in the Ocean... the kingdom of Oceanus.
The island that sinks is called "Aphrodites Island" or "Leia". The war with Atlantis is 3 inundations before the flood of Deucalion... 3 nile floods that is, or 3 years. Let's call that 1433BC. The island sinking MAY be the cause of the flood of Deucalion.
The area of Cyrene is called Pentapolis, or 5-cities.
An interesting coincidence is Manetho's description of the hyskos is that they live in Typho's city, which is 10000 Acres... note: the length of an Acre is a stade. Plato's Atlantis myth says the plain of the country of Atlantis, or Poseidon, was 10,000 stades.
There is a legend of Alexander the Great viewing the Pillars of Hercules. This is dismissed, because he never conquers Abila and Calpe (Phoenecian Pillars). He does conquer Cyrene.

The war is between the "Antides" and "Heliades". Antaeus equals Poseidon equals Seth from the West. Helius equals Phaeton.
This makes Gebel El-Akhdar - Mount Atlant or Mount Atlas
The region of Cyrene is called Ammonia, and part of Egypt. There is also a Serapion on the map, city of Serapis, who should live around 1538BC, married to IO.
Another unimportant interesting coincidence is the "Tyndarian Peaks" on the map... Hercules battles a King Tyndareus of Crete, in his labors.
Menelaus is on the map. He is described by homer as wandering through the underworld, also wandering in Africa.
