And usually they burnt the mummie after they stripped it of it's prizes.
I guess it's the same reasoning that makes serial killers bury bodies in their backyards.

What does it mean to you all this? are you trying to post more to become a Pharaoh?, but this is just something of the site...we are all here to talk about Ancient Egypt, not to post foolishness to get new titles!...then, what kind of Pharaoh would you be if you cannot even understand that???...why don't you take care of politics, who are so many there around??
