It was a joke?

Blagh! I suppose I should read everything in every post!

Well, in any case, I stand by my words!
Now for Osiris - you said you wanted me to give hard viable proof that Altantis ever existed. Well, I can't. In my post, when I was saying to give proof that Atlantians were of an alien origin, I meant to include if they ever actually existed. I guess that's my fault, not being as clear as I had hoped.
As for the Zeta Reticuli theory, I still can't say I believe it. Under hypnosis, people are very easily influenced, and I believe Betty was influenced by the hypnotiser. As far as the system never being known of until this amazing occurance, I think it's just something the government fearing psuedo-hippy thirty-seven year olds living in their cat loving mother's basement eating Cheetos and rubbing the excess cheese off their fingers onto their fat, hairy bodies thought up to sound important. True, I have no proof to back up my claims, but I'm sticking with what I had just thought on the fly out of spite.
Zeta Reticuli is the one where the couple stops in the middle of the road from a blinding light, and they think they see what might be the shape of an alien figure, maybe ... right? Astronomy is awesome, but (full offense intended) I have no respect for the whackos who believe they've been abducted.
In psychology, there are five stages of sleep. Stage 1, 2, 3, 4 and R.E.M.
You start out in stage one; you might be concious - barely, and soon you'll drift into stage 2.
In stage 2, you'll have a feeling like you're floating. This is why sometimes when you wake up, you feel like you're going to fall out of your bed. This would explain why people believe why they have been "lifted" out of their beds. Stage 2 sleep is also the best chance to have conversations with the sleeping
In stage 3 sleep, you start to dream. You can speak with the sleeping, but the messages will be jumbled, like "Icecream waffle fork", for example. In stage 3 sleep, you're most likely to sleepwalk or even wet the bed.
Stage 4 sleep, your body starts to calm down, and dreams start to unfold.
R.E.M. - you're all out dreaming; twitching and all.
You repeat stages 2 - R.E.M. sleep in approximate 90 minute intervals.
Because of this (stage 2 sleep), I have no choice but to laugh at those who believe they were abducted from their bed. All that is happening is you start out with a floating feeling, and then your paranoid psyche goes off in a tangent and you have a dream about being abducted after your evening of scaring yourself over falsified government reports or an episode of the X-Files.
