Slightly trite writing, but entertainingly informative, particularly with regards to primary sources and inscriptions as evidence.

Tutankhamun was probably born at Akhetaten/Amarna circa 1340 BCE, as you doubtless have found. He grew up with six elder sisters and a brother, Smenkhare. It must be known that his probable father, Akhenaten, had vowed never to leave the city, althoughI cannot say if this limited to his family from visiting other places. Carefree days. Optimism. Religious zeal. "Tut"'s childhood was unfortunately disrupted at such a tender age...
