Hatshepsut ruled from 1473 - 1458 if I am not mistaken, so she would have built her temple ~ 3,500 years ago

yes, Mary is right! Hatshepsut started building her Djeser-Djeserw during the seventh year of reign of Tothmes III, when she entitle herself as a King. As she started also acting ang governing as a king, she built the Djeser-Djeserw temple for her self and her father, the great Tothmes I....

3,500 years ago? thats odd i thought it would be more, like Nefertari: Queen of Egypt said it seems a lttle recent
